This Calgary Industrial Greenhouse Wedding was a pretty explosion of all of our favourite things: modern decor, industrial architecture, watercolour patterns, and plants galore! If we had our way, we’d incorporate plants in all of our creative projects. You should see our home. It’s like a greenhouse {much to Cam’s frustration, oopsies!}
It goes without saying that this styled shoot was particularly close to my {Jessica’s} heart. We handcrafted the ceremony watercolour backdrop, which was an adventure in itself. As wedding planners, we often find ourselves crafting grand ideas to attain our desired vision. The dainty and sparse greenery on the copper arbour and table complimented the minimalist look we were aiming for, and the lush and cascading bouquet with its show-stopping Protea was the piece of resistance. We found the most perfect dress from local designer Laura George to tie the whole look together. Its lace detailing brought an air of softness while the geometric lines in the bodice screamed modern and edgy.
